As per every Premises Licence, each venue must have a fully operating CCTV system that records for a minimum of 28 days, some venues states 30. 

Every venues CCTV Cameras will cover all front and back of house areas. In the venue, there will be large data cabinet that will have your Digital Video Recording units (DVR's). Each DVR can hold up to 32 cameras, with some venues having more than that number, this means you will have to switch between each set of 32 to see other cameras. 

The switch is a small black box with a circle button in the middle, often with a blue or green circle light around the button. This will help you go between DVR 1 and DVR 2. 

Premises Licence states that there must be a person on site who is trained to operate the system and can download footage upon request from the Police or other authorities.

People can and will make a request for CCTV, however we are unable to provide this to external sources unless its authorised by a Police request via phone, email or in person or its part of a claim for or against Roxy Leisure. Venue should only download and allow CCTV footage to leave with the Police without hesitation. If another authority requests CCTV, please contact your Operations Manager immediately for confirmation. 

If there is a request for CCTV from an individual involved in a claim for or against Roxy Leisure, this must NEVER be sent out directly to this person. Any requests will come from a claims handler or insurance company, so please forward this request onto Compliance who will deal with this request. 

The CCTV owner might not be allowed to share any footage if:

• other people can be seen in it
• they’re not able to edit out people to protect their identity

Any individual can submit a ‘Right of Access’ request which is looking to confirm details on themselves. This ‘Subject Access Request’ includes:

• Whether they are storing or using your personal information - we dont hold any personal information or bank details of any individual who has provided them for a pre-payment or paid in venue for food, drinks or gaming.
• If any footage involving them is been stored (you can state 'Yes, only if you have been directly involved in an incident that occurs within a Roxy Leisure venue', its kept for future reference to help and assist external authorities if required'
