Testing your Fire Alarm
When testing your fire alarm, you must put the system into test mode so ROC and Custodian know the alarm isn't sounding for an emergency. On your Fire Evacuation Map, you will have instructions to use an automated service, the steps are:
Manager@ email as the username and the your assigned password will be saved on your Dashlane.
Head to www.smc-touch.co.uk
Login > Estate > Sites > Click on your venue > Bottom left green button called ‘Test’ > Select duration of test recommended 1 hour > then click the green button in the bottom right to confirm.
This will be confirmed and your panel will be in test. You can then test the fire alarm, silence, reset and back to normal. Once the hour has elapsed, your panel will automatically go back into active mode.
